SMALL BUSINESS ADVISOR (SBA II)-Greater Cleveland Area-Northern

Purpose:
SMALL BUSINESS ADVISOR II (SBA II) Cleveland, OH

Cingular Wireless is looking for HUNTERS to prospect and sell Cingular products and services to the Small Business sector throughout the Greater Cleveland and Northern Ohio area.

General duties/job description:

Regularly (more than 3 days per week) works away from the retail store. Responsible for driving traffic to COR location where customer activations are fulfilled. Obtains sales contractual agreements for wireless/integrated telco offers to Small Business IRU, CRU customers
Sales Modules comprised of 3,000-5,000 Small Business prospects. Supports the geographic area, i.e. zip code based neighborhood territory or a Line of Business (LOB). Thereby typically supports 3-5 stores, driving productivity.
Responsible for specific zip code-based geography to cold call on and to build relationships with small businesses (<50 employees) to sell Cingular products and services.
Schedules appointments in COR/Customer locations to qualify customer needs using Business Solutions and Cingular Advantage and provides proposal with cost/benefits.
Closes business and sets expectations for next steps at neighborhood COR location with handoff to Store Manager.
Responsible for acquisition and retention to grow SB contracted CRU, IRU while facilitating maintenance (reducing churn) of existing small business base to drive business into neighborhood COR location/Cingular.com.
May conduct preliminary credit checks to begin sales process.





QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
2-3 sales experience in a business/retail setting.
Proven track record in sales function with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals and to close sales.
Cold calling/territory management experience preferred.
A “hunter’s” mentality required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Ability to work in Team Environment.
BI-LINGUAL candidates fluent in English and Spanish desired.
Designated “driving” position. Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, insurance and clean driving record required. MVR check required for the incumbent.
