Representative, Technical Support

Job Responsibilities:
Square D Company is a part of Schneider Electric, a global leader in power distribution and energy management systems. In our Lavergne facility we are involved in all phases of design, development, marketing, and manufacturing of award-winning products and customer solutions.
This position is accountable for answering telephone 'hot line' or written inquiries from customers regarding Square D lighting control products. Analyzes problems with non-functioning controls and software equipment to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action. Recommends solutions to customer application questions. Assists field engineers and channel partners with selecting the right products and delivering on promises. Maintains a log of problems so that recurring problems can be reported to engineering. This position offers the opportunity to be a key participant in an important and rapidly growing industry.Position will include the support of Powerlink, Clipsal, and Square D sensors, creating drawing packages, submittals, and generation of quotes based on customer needs and drawings. Developing new solutions while being able to support that solution with a cad/Visio drawing delivered to customer for proof of concept.
Ideal candidate will have an electrical/electronics background with excellent software skills in Autocad, Visio, and Microsoft Office products.Education:2 year associates and 1 to 5 years in an electrical/controls field or4 year bachelors degree or equivalent experience in electronics/electrical engineering
Experience:Understanding of Electrical Wiring and PrinciplesUnderstanding of Lighting Control Systems, POWERLINK preferredUnderstanding of Network Communication SystemsProficient with Microsoft Operating SystemsUnderstanding of Panelboard applications, NF and NQOD Lighting Panelboards preferredVersed in the use of Autocad and Visio a must
