Release of Information (ROI) Clerk

Responsible for all correspondence received through the Department, including, but not limited to requests from attorneys, subpoenas, insurance companies, disability, outside health facilities, workman’s compensation, patients, physician, Patient Accounts Department and PRO requests. Responsible for completion of the daily census reports and the balancing of the statistics. Job also encompasses some filing and ordering of departmental supplies.

Minimum Qualifications: · Minimum of two years experience in medical correspondence OR ART · Excellent typing skills · Good language and grammar skills · Knowledge of basic medical terminology · Ability to work well with physicians and all ancillary personnel · Must be organized, precise and self-starter · Preferably aware of state and federal regulations regarding the release of medical information (but will train/advise if necessary) REQUIREMENTS
