General Management
Reports to: Vice President & General ManagerJob Summary:
A Receptionist provides general office support not limited to answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, mail distribution, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties and related tasks.Responsibilities to Include:
Operate a switchboard to route incoming calls when appropriate.
Greet and direct visitors upon arrival at the facility.
Answer telephones and direct callers to the appropriate personnel.
Transfer a caller to an employee’s voice mailbox when the employee is unavailable.
Take and retrieve messages for various personnel.
Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.
Receive, sort and forward incoming mail.
Maintain and route publications.
Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.), cab service, etc.
Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
Assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, collating, filing and faxing.
Type various memos, correspondence and assist with other urgent clerical or administrative duties as assigned.
Performs other job related duties as assigned by management.A Textron Company
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Position Requirements:
One year of experience with MS Office Suite software.
Possess strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Able to work collectively with the administrative assistant team.
Excellent phone etiquette, punctual, should be customer service driven, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to multi-task.License and Certification Requirements:
