Purchasing Coordinator

Job Purpose:
Assists purchasing management with ordering, performing data entry and database maintenance and organizing and tracking of orders.
Duties:
* Purchases raw materials by obtaining pricing and delivery schedule; preparing and forwarding purchase order for approval; issuing purchase orders.
* Verifies delivery of supplies by tracking order fulfillment; expediting delivery; comparing receiving documentation to purchase order.
* Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills/Qualifications:
Supply Management, Tracking Budget Expenses, Vendor Relationships, Organization, Customer Service, Documentation Skills, Previous health care experience preferred


Education: High school graduate or equivalent; 2+ years experience in purchasing or supply management; healthcare experience a plus.
