DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:**THE POSITION REQUIRES ABILITY TO OBTAIN/MAINTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE AND POLYGRAPH * US Citizenship is required. Person is needed to support a large prime contract. Candidate will coordinate all administrative aspects of the program including proposals, staffing, meetings, schedules, documentation and reports, action tracking, and travel. Candidate will be the central liaison among contract program managers, subcontractor representatives, finance, security, and human resources and will manage program processes, calendars, staffing packages, archival system, etc. Examples of proposal responsibilities include: coordinating with subcontractors to create proposal schedules; creating PowerPoint slide templates; organizing meetings; acting as liason between government and subcontractors by distributing government-provided procurement materials; maintaining archive of all procurement-related documents; and editing and assisting with proposal formatting
Examples of staffing responsibilities include: updating, formatting, and printing staffing packages submitted by subcontracting companies; updating staffing spreadsheets to reflect new data including formulas and charts and graphs; communicating with finance to verify rates; updating, formatting, printing, and emailing spreadsheets for weekly meetings; emailing subcontractors and internal program management to request and follow up on information; etc.
Examples of travel responsibilities include: telephonically working with a travel agent to coordinate airline travel, hotel stays, and car rentals; assisting employees with expense reports; and archiving expense reports
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 2 years of frequent and detailed use in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Calendar, and PowerPoint. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Candidate must be detail-oriented and organized. Must be able to multi-task; take direction from multiple players; prioritize; and feel comfortable communicating via email, phone, and in meetings. Motivated self-starter needed who can work as a team player and alone. Experience in Access or other database a plus. Experience publishing databases/Excel files for Web updating a plus. Strong writing skills and technical editing and documentation experience. DESIRED: Knowledge of government travel policies and processes. Experience with Access or other database. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, HR, Communications or a technical field.
