For over three decades, Mathematica has been a leader in analyzing government programs for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. We are currently looking for an Analyst of Government Programs to assist in designing, implementing and evaluating government reporting and performance systems.

Duties include:
Data management and data analysis Providing technical assistance to federal and state agencies on performance measurement, on performance analysis, and on reporting and validation softwareCollecting information through systems and document reviews and interviews with program staff and contractors Developing reporting and performance specifications and user manuals Software quality assurance and testing Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses and evaluating program operations/systems Assisting in the preparation of presentations for clients and government program staff

To qualify for this position, you should have an advanced degree and one year of relevant experience, or a combination of equivalent education and experience in Public Policy, the Social Sciences, MIS, or a related field; a willingness to travel; and an outstanding academic record. A familiarity with government program operations, system quality control, or systems documentation is also desirable. We offer a positive work environment that includes 3 weeks paid time off in the first year and an on-site fitness center.
