Product Development Coordinator - Lab Clerical
We have immediate openings for a Product Development Coordinator with a leading manufacturer of high technology dental, orthodontic and infection prevention products in Orange County! This position is supporting the scientists in the laboratory. This position is Monday-Friday from 7am to 4pm.Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Translations for product packaging and directions for use. Will include the following: Manage approval of text; determine which languages to obtain translation; forward text and instructions to translation service, instruction layout and proofreading; coordinate translation verification, coordinate typesetting and internal approval of translated documents
Coordinate packaging / labeling for new and revised products and product launches. Will include the following: Coordinate communication between Art Department, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Development, Operations, Engineering, and vendors to ensure that new packaging components and product samples are completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain Technical Databases for in-house use, support for sales and marketing, and customer information. Will include the following: Maintain files of Clinical Studies and Technical Reports including associated payments; maintain files of published literature products; conduct monthly database search to identify new technical files referencing company products; scan clinical studies, technical reports and literature abstracts for inclusion on company website; maintain Scanning Electron Microscope photos of company products and competitive materials.
Coordinate Stability testing. Notify scientists and verify test completion. Coordinate Biotesting. Drop off samples, and maintain Excel spreadsheet for product launches.
Department Administration. Will include the following: Process PO's, provide assistance to department tax and budget activities, CAR requests and submissions, check requests, audit expense reports, maintain R&D library, circulate journals. Maintains non-disclosure agreements, petty cash account, prepare invoices for payment, mail sample products to researchers, maintain patent files, order competitor products, daily distribution of mail, prepare absence request forms, create work orders for repairs, maintain monthly attendance calendar, prepare new product mgt group report, compile monthly department report for VP, maintain MSDS data base, R & D Training, other duties as assigned, route meeting minutes, provide documentation to RA as requested, maintain new product part number list.Experience:
Some college preferred
