Post Issue Specialist (TCXN) - (DW132162)
This position is responsible for receiving in the requirements from the field force for issued and placed cases and placing policies in force; requires the ability to process Not Takens, Reissues, Cancel After Issues and provide follow ups for any outstanding requirements for issued and placed cases; provides prompt and accurate information and services to field producers via phone, fax or email communication; possesses knowledge of products and departmental functions including policy issue and policy coding; handling numerous reports and assisting team mates with resolving extensive problems which are essential to this position; and other duties assigned. 90% of duties involve internal/external customer interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be customer focused and strong in relationship development/management, able to think outside the box, achieve desired results even when faced with multiple obstacles, and have a sense of urgency. Must be comfortable and effective in working in a metrics driven environment with a quality focus. High School education (required); college education preferred; minimum of 2 years prior business experience required; LOMA 280 and 290 are preferred or ability to achieve within a year of hire; possess the ability to handle complex customer problems/inquiries and develop/maintain positive customer relationships; work in a team environment and keep a positive attitude in dealing with intense situations; understand New Business processes, computer systems, telephones and business machines; handle multiple daily activities with a high level of urgency with regard to large volume of work; basic knowledge of company products and procedures; the ability to stay late on commission cut-offs (monthly) and at year end (required); type/key 60wpm with 99% accuracy; be a self-starter, energetic, able to work in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changes with a positive attitude.
