Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal
AV rated, non-smoking, Tempe Law Firm seeks an experienced personal injury litigation paralegal to work in its Personal Injury Group.
The preferred candidate will have successfully completed an ABA-approved paralegal program with at least three years of personal injury litigation experience. He or she must be able to function in a fast paced, independent work environment, have excellent writing skills and enjoy working closely with clients, physicians, insurance adjusters and attorneys. The preferred candidate must enjoy significant client contact. Knowledge of medical terminology is a must. He or she must be able to review medical records, prepare comprehensive demand packages, personal injury lawsuits, prepare disclosure statements, answer interrogatories and production requests and prepare and compile arbitrations, mediation and trial notebooks. In addition, he or she must be able to prepare a case for trial, including jury instructions. Knowledge and experience using Time Matters is beneficial.
