Personal Assistant to the Chairman
Combined Properties, Incorporated, a growing real estate firm headquartered in Washington, DC with rapidly expanding presence in select California real estate markets, is in search of a Personal Assistant to provide detailed administrative and personal support to its company’s Chairman.
This is a highly responsible position requiring the utmost discretion, tact and professionalism, and the ability to employ resourcefulness and creativity in solving problems, delivering the desired results and meeting the needs of the Chairman.
The incumbent in the position will be responsible:
Daily management of the Chairman’s personal and business calendar
Interfacing with internal and external parties as needed to establish appointments and arrange meetings and teleconferences
In this position, you will also be expected to perform a variety of duties, from the mundane to the complex, ranging from transport of the Chairman via car to various locations, to running various personal errands, to coordinating business meetings on his behalf
The incumbent will work out of a variety of locations, including, but not limited the Chairman’s home, the Beverly Hills office or his or her home, depending on the need and circumstances.
The ideal incumbent will have:
Completed college level coursework and have a minimum of five (5) years attending to the personal and administrative needs of a high net worth individual
Excellent organizational and communications skills, as well as strong level of personal and professional maturity is an absolute must
The ability to remain calm and composed in tense situations to diffuse those situations, as needed is required
The successful candidate must possess the ability to work independently with minimal direction
They will frequently be expected to exercise good judgment and will make as many decisions on their own as possible
A strong attention to the smallest of details is a must
The ability to drive all given projects to completion, manage resources, set expectations for service providers and ensure products and services provided meet the Chairman’s exacting standards
Computer and technology literacy is an absolute requirement
Incumbent must be well-versed in the use of MS Outlook and Word and comfortable with the use of portable technologies (laptops, PDAs, Blackberrys, etc.)
The candidate selected will be subject to a full background check, including credit, criminal and motor vehicle records. As contact during off hours can be very important, the candidate will carry a company-provided cell phone for that purpose.
