Parts Receiving Clerk

We're looking for people who can make a difference because we believe that an innovative oriented team can accomplish anything!The Parts Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving parts, verifying accuracy of shipments and putting parts in the proper locations.Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Must be able to operate heavy machinery (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
Assist parts drivers in preparing deliveries and deliver emergency orders as directed
Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean, neat and clearly labeled
Maintain receiving and shipping records, delivery truck maintenance records and returned parts recordsThe position requires that you move throughout the parts shelves all day, reaching and climbing, pulling and putting parts in the proper locations. Will stand six to eight hours in the warehouse receiving, verifying accuracy of shipments and shipping parts to local and out of town locations. REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience: Ideal candidate will have:
Ability to lift up to seventy-five pounds
Ability to climb at least two flights of stairs
Valid Driver's License
Experience in a retail or wholesale parts department
Good comprehension of parts manuals
Good communication skills
Mechanical aptitudeQualifications Preferred:
Completion of parts seminars that include selling skills, telephone skills, stocking and inventory control.Required Education:
