Part-Time Hostess

Leader in media and entertainment seeks a Director of Financial Planning who will be responsible for supporting the budgeting and forecasting function for the Company.


Responsibilities
Report to the VP, Financial Planning and interact extensively with SVP of Financial Planning & Analysis and SVP of Finance
Support all phases of the annual budgeting process for the Company's six operating regions and multiple corporate departments including planning and administration, consolidation of forecasts, heavy analysis and reporting and preparation of multiple presentations
Support all phases of the monthly forecasting process including managing the process for and ensuring accuracy of submission of financial forecasts from operating regions and corporate departments, as well as heavy analysis and reporting and submission of financial forecasts to the Company
Participate in the roll-out of company-wide planning tool (Hyperion)
Provide support to the corporate, regional and divisional staff regarding budgeting and forecasting issues
Work closely with the FP&A function at the Company to ensure that the needs and information requests of the Parent Company are met
Create reports and analysis for Senior Management and the Board of Directors
Provide support and information to the Investor Relations groups
Work on various special projects and presentations as requested
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree; CPA and MBA highly desirable
Extensive financial experience in a public company with media and entertainment industry experience preferred
Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles and a willingness to attend to detail
Ability to manage simultaneous projects and priorities in a dynamic environment, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong oral and written communications skills; the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
Flexible to travel 20% to 30%
