The program at West Baltimore MS is the 2nd year of an in-school reading pilot program for high functioning special education students.The Parent Involvement Specialist will: Show parents how to be an effective partner in their child’s school experience
Help parents reinforce good reading strategies at home
Work collaboratively with Education Station staff and West Baltimore staff to develop a comprehensive program
that meets the needs of students and parents
Provide family counseling, consultation, parent education, faculty in-service
Liaise with community resources to identify and provide services as needed
REQUIREMENTS
