Order Entry Specialist / Senior Specialist

Obtain 100% accuracy entering customer Purchase Orders for one to two vendors. Ensure all pertinent fields are entered accurately, in a timely manner meeting all established SLAs, and adhering to any unique customer requirements.
Actively works to streamline Purchase Order entry with focus on creating consistency among customers. Actively works with Order Manager from neighboring team to share best practices within teams and customers. Consistently reports this information back to internal management. Meets established productivity rates.
Actively works to build strong relationships with all internal personnel. Proactive in working with internal Account Managers, Order Accuracy Managers & Trainers to understand the customers as it pertains to order entry.

Provides assistance to Order Entry Manager and proactively looks for opportunities within the teams to increase productivity and optimize processes of data entry to create process stability, scalability and effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Education / Experience:
High School diploma/GED
Data entry and customer service experience (Specialist)
Minimum 1 year of Data entry and customer service experience (Senior Specialist)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in typing and 10 key with proven accuracy
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Good oral and written communication skills

This phase will initially focus on ES. Future phases will include other practices. At full implementation, the expectation is that all order entry employees will process all vendors.This is a data entry position that involves processing and entering customer Purchase Orders into the Oracle database and reports to the Order Entry Manager. This is working in a fast paced work environment where timeliness and accuracy (maintaining 100% accuracy in order entry and matching GE Sales Order to customer Purchase Order) is at a premium - as time sensitive computer equipment and services are transacted in heavy volumes throughout the business day. While this position is primarily data entry, it does involve teamwork, organizing workflow, and proactively improving processes. This position works with guidance from the Order Entry Team Lead, Order Accuracy Manager and Order Entry Manager.
