This position is working in the downtown Oakland, accounting department of a large manufacturing company. Bart access.


*Manage all aspects of the Mailroom - 25%

*Coordinate purchase, receipt, stocking and maintain appropriate inventory levels of supplies, i.e., drinks, kitchen paper goods, desk/office supplies and printed items such as envelopes and letterhead - 35%

*Maintain office equipment, including postage machine, fax machines and copiers - 10%

*Manage building maintenance with property management company - as needed

*Invoice coding, reconciliation and maintaining facilities budget - 10%

*Coordinate ongoing furniture and fixture repairs and building upkeep/cleanliness - as needed

*Maintain security services and parking administration - as needed

*Maintain phone directory, new employee Office Guide and various Word & Excel files - 10%

*Manage gift certificates, Commuter Check program and Purchase Card - 10%

*Provide general administrative support - as needed


All applicants will need to complete a background check including credit and criminal history, DMV records, social security trace, degree/college validation and drug screen.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
