NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR

Manages all business related activity to achieve the HCR Manor Care vision and supporting strategies and assures that the company image as an ethical and high quality provider of health services is developed and maintained.


QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrates problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability in program administration including knowledge of health care standards and policies and reimbursement practices.
- Knowledge and competence in application of community health principles, practices and administration.
- Ability to develop and maintain rapport with the client, family and staff.
- Has the ability to plan, organize, administer, coordinate, and control Agency programs in the community.
- Knowledge of interpersonal relationships and skills, and able to assemble and maintain information for the formulation of reports.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years in an administrative or supervisory capacity sub acute long term care.
- Experience in business administration is preferred.

EDUCATION:
Degree in business, health care, nursing or related field preferred. Nursing Home Administrator’s license required.
