As a membership Generalist for ACA Membership Sevices Company candidates will be responsible for for responding to telephone inquiries regarding account processing or billing status, new applications and policy change requests. Membership Generalist will processes new business, endorsements and cancellation information.

Responsibilities:

Membership and Sales Servicing, Music Membership and Billing Payments and Auto Insurance Servicing.

Primary Responsibilities:
Communicates benefits of membership to prospective members
Opens new accounts
Processes routine membership and auto insurance inquiries and transactions, including renewals and edits of membership accounts
Endorses Auto policy changes with premium impacts
Completes necessary auto insurance paper forms (cancellation requests, lien holder statements, loss payee and requests for additional information, etc)
Processes basic member and policy holder billing inquiries (discretionary power within defined threshold)
Responds to and revolves basic member and policy holder complaints
Maintains a high level of service with policyholders and meets performance targets
Provides assistance to policy holders utilizing cross sell opportunities when appropriate
REQUIREMENTS
Clear verbal and written communication in English
Basic mathematical, typing (35 wpm minimum), computer (basic usage and functions) and data entry skills
Basic computer (e.g., Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.) relevant applications (e.g., MemberPoint, Mileage Calculator etc.) and telephone skills
General awareness of AAA products and detailed knowledge of Membership and auto Insurance products
Comprehension and ability to apply CSAA underwriting guidelines
Familiarity with csaa.com and features and functionality
Understands and applies sales techniques
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
Application of good judgment and decision making
Ability to work efficiently both independently and a part of a team
Prior Experience/Education Level
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year prior customer service experience is preferred
