The Medical Practice of BHNFPS a Facial Plastic and ENT practice in central Broward county is hiring a medical business / office manager. This individual will need to have several skills.
First, completely clear English speech and understanding is needed. Bilingual skills are helpful but not required. Pleasant phone skills are needed to deal with patients and many others who you will interact with.Since there are an extensive amount of insurance coding, appealing and billing issues in medical practices only individuals with coding, billing and collections experience need apply. Although on the job training is available from 2 sources, a knowledge of health care billing and coding procedures is required and essential.The job responsibilities will grow as the manager gains experience working with the other office employees and their skills improve. The other employees are involved in allergy work and many other responsibilities.
Those who are capable of comfortably multi-tasking will appreciate this job due to the varied and interesting responsibilities. This job is designed for an individual who does not need to be pushed but enjoys a challenge and a very professional and successful office.The manager should be computer literate and able to learn running reports on the software system called Raintree which will soon be moved to a windows based platform. Office training is provided but if you are not excellent and attentive with data entry and data collection do not bother to apply.Until the past 6 weeks my office managers have been with the practice for over 10 years. Recently the applicants have not been able to provide the necessary level of support that the staff and I need. I hope you will be the one to change that.The salary is contingent with experience and can range from $ 30,000 to $ 40,000. There will not be an initial salary premium placed on just "experienced" when lots of training is necessary but there will be sufficient bonuses to compensate a manager who starts at a lower salary and then matches or exceeds expectations. If practice income grows, your income grows. It's really that simple.I am looking for a person who is stable in this community. The person must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:30. Since all the office staff are important in a small office environment daycare and eldercare issues must not be anticipated. Obviously occasional exceptions occur, but should be infrequent. I am not looking to fill a seat now and have a vacancy in 2 or 3 years. The job is right, but now I need to find the right individual.
There are many interesting aspects to this job, too many to cover in this brief note. IF YOU FEEL YOU ARE RIGHT FORWARD YOUR RESUME. There will be no phone interviews only a person to person initial 10 or 15 interview, followed by a more detailed interview for those called back.
