Medical Transcriptionist - PRN - 1040

Medical language specialist who interprets and transcribes dictation by physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, workup, therapeutic procedures, clinical course, diagnosis, prognosis, etc. in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of health services, providing high quality transcription services in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the hospital. Provides timely and accurate medical transcription. Answers requests for STAT dictation.
Qualifications High school diploma/GED. At least one year of medical transcription or completion of a medical transcription program preferred. Excellent typing/computer skills.
