Part -Time Certified Medical Assistant (Requisition #042451)
Enthusiastic, energetic Certified Medical Assistant needed for busy Health Center. Part-time 20 to 30 hours/week. Must be able to assist medical staff with examination and treatment of patients to include escort and transportation, history, vital signs, blood draws, minor surgical procedures, collecting and preparing lab specimens and applying medicines and dressings. Will assist with data collection and recording, cleaning of exam rooms and equipment and stocking of supplies. Must have high-school diploma and Medical Assistant Certification.
Part-Time Medical Laboratory Technician (Requisition #042452)
Enthusiastic, energetic (part-time 20-30 hrs/week) Medical Laboratory Technician generalist to perform daily diagnostic laboratory test and results, patient interviewing and phlebotomy; assists physicians as needed. Must be able to perform routine preventative maintenance and quality control and compile statistical data. An Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited school in Medical Technology or equivalent and MLT (ASCP) or NCA certification and 2 years experience in a clinical lab are required. Knowledge and experience with excel and electronic health information systems preferred.
Administrative Coordinator I/Medical Records Coordinator (Requisition #042049)
Bachelor's degree (RHIA preferred) & (2) yrs. related experience in Med. Records Administration; or Associates Degree (RHIT Certification preferred) & (4) yrs. related experience in Medical Records Administration. Plans, organizes & directs the provision of medical records services; supervises all functions of medical records, including records completion, transmission, indexing, research, filing storage, retrieval, maintenance & FERPA/HIPAA regulations. This person must have knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-0 and CPT medical billing codes & also strong communication skills. Salary negotiable depending on education and experience.
