Master Production Scheduler
SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION
In this growth opportunity, you will develop the master schedule for production operations through conversion the Sales and Operating Plan information into a meaningful, part number specific, finished goods build plan that balances the overall capacity, material availability, inventory level and customer service levels required to meet company objectives. You will have the oppportunity to be a part of our global process transformation including SAP implmentation.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Functional
Plans, Schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from Engineering plans and production specifications to establish product schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Works to resolve capacity and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions. Develops the Master Schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing. Acts as the liason between the Demand Manager and the manufacturing plant for Sales and Operations Planning. Responsible for conversion of the S&OP Supply plan into discrete catalog numbers or groups.
Emphasis on data analysis pulled form multiple sources to best develop a executable schedule.
Perform Complex daily tasks, including but not limited to:
1. Maintain demand stream and system parameter aspects of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)system
2. Perform Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) from S&OP outputs (production and inventory plans)
3. Firm and maintain Qty and date records (Work Orders) for finished goods within the Firm planning period.
4. Generates the final material planning information for components-.
5. Create final assembly schedules for the assigned manufacturing area.
6. Ensure all schedules are aligned to meet customer requirements.
7. Ensure material familiarity (components and final assemblies) for designated area.
8. Recommend Order policy type including but not limited to Assemble to Order (ATO), Assemble to Stock (ATS), Configure to Order (CTO), and Engineer to Order (ETO) etc.
9. Analyze inventory levels and determine actions to either reduce or increase levels.
10. Operate within various Company Business Operating systems.
11. Participate in annual physical inventory for the designated area.
12. Load and maintain all applicable forecast information into the Business SystemLeadership

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field. Military training with supply chain is also acceptable. Minimum five years of manufacturing operations experience.
