Prepare drafts of registration statements and supplements to the prospectuses for the Company's mutual funds, for final review by manager or attorneys. Prepare statements of additional information for the Company’s mutual funds including annual updates, new funds and new classes. Responsible for preparing all EDGAR submissions for registration statements and supplements with little or no supervision. Supervise, directly and indirectly, paralegals in their daily work. Assist manager in the training of all paralegals. Responsible for scheduling work flow, including monthly filing schedules. Responsible for managing vacation schedules. Responsible for managing financial printer relationships, including invoice approval. Responsible for developing and maintaining of processes relating to the registration statement work and for adherence to the processes by the rest of the team. Responsible for the group when the Manager is out or unavailable.What else can we tell you?

REQUIREMENTS
Who is our ideal candidate?
Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of federal securities laws and mutual fund filings.
Ability to train junior staff members in legal concepts of the securities acts.
College degree or relevant experience.
Paralegal Certificate preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to follow through.
Dependable and motivated.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Computer proficient - Word and Excel; spreadsheet knowledge.
Problem solving, research and organization skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize and structure a high volume of tasks and information.
Work well with short deadlines and learn quickly.
Ability to employ basic reasoning skills.
Ability to work as a team member.
