Overview:We are seeking qualified candidates for a Manager role in our Group Benefits department.


Key Accountabilities:Prepare, maintain, and implement eligibility and administration rulesManage the Company's HIPAA Privacy requirementsEstablish and implement an internal auditing plan to ensure the welfare plans are administered by Corporate, Federated HR Services, Federated Systems Group, and the other divisions in accordance with plan provisionsEstablish and maintain a training program for corporate benefit staff, Federated HR Services, and the divisions to ensure that the requirements of the welfare benefit plans are understood and the necessary tools and knowledge are available as needed to administer the programsEstablish and maintain a system to ensure all contracts and vendor agreements maintained by the Group Benefits Department are updated, current, and filed in a manner that is easily accessible to departmental staff and managementCoordinate the Company's Voluntary Benefit programOversee ERISA appeals process by reviewing first appeal decisions as requested by the Senior Plan AdministratorAssist the Senior Plan Administrator with the creation and maintenance of Summary Plan Descriptions, Summary Annual Reports, and the Summaries of Material Modifications in accordance with legal requirements


Skills Summary:Bachelor's DegreeAt least five years of employee benefits experience at a supervisory or manager levelProven project management skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access skills, including experience with preparing complex spreadsheets and complex queriesPeopleSoft experience with queries and the Benefits Administration module preferredCEBS degree preferred
