Maintenance Technician II

A worldwide hydraulic manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join their team at its Hillsboro, Oregon location. This is your chance to work at a successful company that is meeting goals, growing and winning in the market!

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the machinery and general facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the Following:
- Repair production and facilities equipment as needed. Work with Machining Manager, Planners and area Supervisors to determine repair needs

- Requisition parts as needed for repairs, spare parts, and equipment upgrades. Develop and maintain a part's inventory. Keep Supervisors, Managers, and maintenance records up to date on machine status and recommendations for repair methods and materials.

- Work with outside suppliers for parts and service needs.

- Perform Preventive Maintenance and assist operators with PM, including training of Machine Operations, as needed. Keep supervisors, managers and planners informed of machine availability requirements for scheduled maintenance

- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- 3 years CNC machine repair experience including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs;
- Good mechanical skills and ability to perform mechanical repairs accurately and quickly;
- Read and understand machine parts drawings

Other Skills/Abilities
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
- Create new documents and templates and use existing documents and databases;
- Experience with equipment used for machine evaluations and calibrations (Renishaw Dallbar, Laser interferometeres, Oscilloscopes)

Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand all day;
- Must be able to lift 50lbs frequently;

Compensation
- $22.31/hour, plus overtime as needed
