Work From Home Medical Transcriptionist - This specialty practice is seeking a self-disciplined work from home Medical Transcriptionist. Background in Pulmonary or Cardiology a plus. This position does not pay by line, but is an hourly full-time opening ranging $16-$18/hourly DOE. Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance. Will handle performance reviews for staff and work with Clinic Managers. Must have a payroll and HR background including a working knowledge of insurance benefit administration. This is a full-time Monday-Friday role paying $42K-50K/yearly depending on previous HR and payroll experience. A bachelors degree in Business Administration is preferred but not required. Insurance Clerk - Immediate opening in Plaza location Specialty Billing Office. This position supports the office supervisor and shadows closely with a coder to perform medical insurance claim follow-up. Professional telephone skills, follow-up skills and the ability to work independently is mandatory. There is no coding involved in this position and this person will be on the phone 90% of the time. Medical Data Entry/Charge Entry/Light Coder - $13.00 to $13.50 an hour. Plaza location. Candidates must have at least one-year medical office billing experience in order to be considered for this opening. This position will support a specialized coder and will enter patient demographics, patient insurance information, charge entry, some exposure to superbills, et cetera. Candidate must understand the difference between an HMO, PPO, POS, Open Access, and self funded (EPO/ASO) insurance plan. A working knowledge of Medicare, Coventry and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance plans preferred, but not required. This is not a coding position, although coding may be training at a later date. Medical Receptionist - Immediate opening for two Medical Receptionists with mandatory 1-2 years experience as a Medical Receptionist working in a medical practice with ability to perform scheduling, patient flow, insurance verification, and patient demographics. Day shift hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the second opening having a Monday through Thursday shift from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Plaza location. Must have minimum of two years experience in both Echo and Vascular. ICAVL certification a plus. Cardiac Medical Assistant - If you have a background working with 12-Lead EKG's (outside of schooling), we have an opening for a Medical Assistant/Nurse Technician in South Johnson County. $12-14/hourly DOE plus benefits. Insurance Clerk – Will be responsible for following up with phone calls to insurance carriers and patients and filing corrected HCFA 1500 claim forms to variety of insurance carriers. Prefer candidates out of a physician office but will look at Insurance Company experience. Located in central Kansas City. $13-15/hourly DOE.
