Junior Recruiter summary:
Our client, a small health care facility, is seeking to hire a Junior Recruiter on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have solid communications skills and a thorough understanding of recruitment processes. The company seeks a self-starter who is able to work well with very little supervision. In this contract Junior Recruiter role your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Junior Recruiter is responsible for:
Maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Creating job requisitions using Talents Management systems.
Posting jobs to internal/external websites.
Sourcing databases for qualified candidates (i.e. Monster, HotJobs, etc.)
Pre-screen resumes, schedule and interview candidates.
Following up on candidate leads, ensure specific process is followed.
Utilizing a variety of recruitment venues.
Presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Distributing welcome materials for applicants.
Initiating compensation processes for perspective hires and forwarding for approval.
Generating offer letters and coordinating pre-employment processes (i.e. background investigations, drug screenings, etc.)
Generation of rejection letters.
Assisting in special recruitment projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Skills & Characteristics:
Must be able to accurately key information into database.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and orally, with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
Individual must pay exceptional attention to detail and must be a proven problem solver.Requirements:
BS in Business (w/ emphasis on HR preferred).
1-3 years HR recruitment experience with a desire to grow HR career.
Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal labor laws.
Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (including Word, Excel and Access) is required.
Previous experience with talent management software preferred (Resumix, BrassRing, Taleo, etc.)
Previous experience with full-cycle recruitment.We offer:
