Internal Quality Specialist - (Tacoma) - (HE32849-611-WA)

Job Title: Internal Quality Specialist

Summary:


The purpose of this position is to compile and deliver Teammate quality reports to the Cash Application Management Team and provide training to improve accuracy. Coordinator will act as a liaison between Cash Teammates and Cash Management. Is responsible for compiling, completing and reporting all teammate error trend data and ensuring department goals and objectives are achieved, in alignment with Davita’s Mission and Core Values.

Qualifications:


1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).


2. Strong typing and data entry skills.


3. Must have good organizational skills with attention to detail.


4. Strong communication skills.


5. Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.


6. Excellent telephone and customer service skills helpful.


7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.


8. Ability to remain objective.


9. Excellent written and communication skills.


10. Team player.

Essential Job Functions:


1. Understand and follow DaVita teammate handbook and safety and security policy and procedures.


2. Communicate findings regularly to the Cash Applications management in an effort to identify trends, issues, and education opportunities.


3. Respond to customer requests and attend customer meetings as needed.


4. Proactively search for opportunities to improve quality assurance methodologies and processes.


5. Update reporting daily on cash error trend information.


6. Create new and/or maintain existing queries to report on a department and teammate level the quality metrics and trending.


7. Perform daily audits objectively and productively using Microsoft applications and DaVita systems according to Department policy and procedure.


8. Provide training to the teammates/team in the identified areas of opportunity.


9. Perform internal quality audits.


10. Coordinate/communicate with Cash Applications management in order to achieve/ensure standardization.


11. Report/communicate audit results to Cash Applications management.


12. Trending.


13. Performs repetitive tasks.


14. Participate in projects ranging from elementary to moderate in complexity.


15. Schedule and facilitate meetings as required.


16. Available to work overtime on occasion when needed to meet Department goals.


17. Uses various Microsoft applications to present information/data to management to include monthly reporting.


18. Quickly interpret information from multiple sources and make judgments based on current practices.


19. Develop training materials to enhance posting and improve overall quality.


20. Spend time with each teammate monthly reviewing errors and trends.


21. Implement training classes for reported error trends.


22. Other duties as assigned.
