Insurance Account Manager
StaffingMaster is currently assisting our client, Todd Associates, in their search for a Personal Lines or Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance Account Manager.
Todd Associates was founded in 1939, and their purpose is to offer sound insurance coverage to the hard-working people of their community. Their small staff of two in 1939 has grown to a service-minded, highly professional group of over 50 associates. Their once small office is now a highly automated center that helps them stay abreast of the constant changes in our industry.
As an independent insurance agency, our client offers several different types of coverage from a wide array of companies. They have a thorough understanding of all your insurance needs, large or small, business or individual, and can develop an effective, affordable program around those needs.
This position will be located within the Cleveland, Ohio area.
Position Summary:
This position requires a candidate to have direct interaction and complete service responsibilities with both customers and insurance carriers while working closely with the Agency’s Sales Producers. You will also assist clients in making appropriate insurance coverage changes, handle the new business and renewal process for all policies including completing of proposals, application, endorsements, certificates, cancellations, and billings. Ability to round customer accounts is required. Other duties include:
•Prepares proposals and applications, submits them to insured and carriers, and obtains clients’ signatures on all apps, follow-up to ensure timely responses, all in conjunction with Producer.
•Explains audit procedures to clients and reviews interim reports for credibility and coverage adequacy.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
2.2-5 years of insurance related experience is required.
3.Good written/verbal communication skills a must
4.Strong technical computer skills. Working knowledge of Applied insurance software system (or comparable system) is preferred.
5.Ability to work within a team environment.
