Currently, we are seeking a qualified Bilingual (English/Spanish)Human Resources professional to join our Houston office.
Requirements:
Essential Functions include but are not limited to: Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, and sexual harassment.Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.Services assigned clients with excellent and professional human resources by conducting an HR audit at the onset of services, determining their training and compliance needs.Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Visits assigned clients at least once per quarter to determine their HR needs and maintain a constant positive relationship with clients. Develops, implements and administers the Back to Work program which assists employees with finding employment with our other clients. Answers unemployment claimsPrepares and participates in Texas Workforce Commission Hearings.Trains client management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, and sexual harassment.Advises client management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.Assists clients with the development of performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.Assists clients with the administration of FMLA leaves and Employee Assistance Programs Investigates claims of harassment and/or discrimination and prepares reports for management.Please submit Word format resume and salary history.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:5 or more years of Human Resource experience
5 or more years of EXTENSIVE recruiting experiencePHR or SPHR certification
MUST BE BILINGUAL (English/Spanish)Must be able to travel 50% of the timeMust be reliable, dependable, a team player with a friendly and very professional personality
