Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: Bachelor’s Degree, at a minimum
EXPERIENCED REQUIRED: 4+ years experience in HR department (e.g., employee relations, EEO/AAP, HRIS, compensation and benefits management, labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.), training/development, etc.)
MICROSOFT OFFICE SKILLS: Advanced knowledge of Word, intermediate PowerPoint and Excel required
ORGANIZATION and PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS: Prioritize and complete multiple assignments and coordinate workflow, producing high quality work in a deadline-driven environment with minimal direction
PROFESSIONALISM: Maintain customer service orientation in all internal and external interactions
COMMUNICATIONS: Strong verbal and written communication skills required
FLEXIBILITY: Ability to travel up to 15% of the time and to work over 40 hours per week on a consistent basis

The Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for ensuring that HR duties and responsibilities are performed under “good governance” based on business-driven, sound HR strategies, policies and operating procedures. The role has three basic tactical components: staffing & recruiting, human resources administration, and internal client relations. The position will perform transactional HR requirements for the Atlanta, Memphis, Charlotte, and Miami offices.
Responsibilities
Staffing & Recruiting
Recruit for experienced talent; actions include but are not limited to sourcing, screening, partnering with scheduling center to arrange for interviews, etc.
Lead campus recruiting and internship programs (i.e., maintain recruiting calendar, register for career fairs, process vendor payments, coordinate interview schedules, respond to incoming calls from candidates, vendors and internal clients, etc.)
Use Peopleclick or other web-based recruiting software to post and advertise positions, track applicants, run staffing reports, manage applicant files (both electronic and hardcopy), etc.
Administration (New Hire and Benefits)
Ensure the consistent and timely local administration of human resources related programs in alignment with regional and corporate offices. This component includes personnel changes, new hire processing, salary changes, performance plan administration, band change administration, AAP administration, policy interpretation, and other similar programs.
Support employment verification process, On-Boarding and Orientation
Provide local support for Benefits communication and administration
Facilitate open enrollment process and review Flex Benefits program with new hires
Internal Client Relations
Exhibit uncompromising ethics at all times, in all dealings, with all people
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders including Office Practice Leaders, Corporate directors, shared services organizations, and other human resources professionals
Develop and/or deliver presentations/training to management staff and employees
Provide interpretive guidance on HR policies, practices, and procedures
Support HR Manager as assigned
Uptakes employee relations issues and uses experience and judgment to take corrective action toward resolution.
