Human Resources Assistant/Receptionist
Responsible for the administration of human resources programs and activities such as recruitment support and administration, relocation support, file maintenance, , HR program administration, and various generalist and office functions in support of departmental and building objectives. This role supports Specialty HR (headquarters), and the Beloit Facilities department.
Essential Functions and Duties:
1.Supports recruitment efforts including internal and external postings, contacting candidates and recruiters, scheduling interviews, arranging for appropriate testing, on-line assessments, and screening. Coordinates interview logistics, creates offer letters, welcome packets, miscellaneous candidate correspondence, and administers the e-Recruitment program.
2.Monitor and assist new hire/transfer on-boarding process to ensure an easy transition into the new role. This includes follow-up with the hiring manager and various support functions to ensure that the necessary tools and information are provided to the employee on the first day in the new position.
3.Effectively communicate benefit orientation for new hires.
4.Create, update and maintain employee files per company requirements.
5.Maintain AAP, I-9, and assessment binders for Specialty Headquarters.
6.Maintain and input employee data in the HRIS/Lawson system to ensure accuracy in record keeping, robust reporting, and seamless integration with payroll processes. Ensures that internal processes to enter/update employee data are followed.
7.Manage and support a variety of employee relations activities.
8.Maintain HR electronic files on the network. This includes recruitment tracking, job descriptions, AAP logs, organization charts, presentations, etc.
9.Provide administrative support for presentations and miscellaneous training programs.
10.Provide backup technical support for conference room technology.
11.Greet visitors, provide front desk support, and perform a variety of departmental support activities (i.e. maintain and manage general office needs, shipping needs, and break room area needs).

REQUIREMENTS
Associate's Degree and/or 2 or more years experience in an administrative or Human Resources role.
Proficiency of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to appropriately maintain confidentiality
Sense of urgency in addressing organizational/individual needs
Ability to effectively multitask
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage projects to completion
Ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the business
