HRIS Specialist

This position is responsible for supporting and developing Human Resource information systems, including maintenance, upgrades, user support and training. The position will also support special projects as assigned.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS

1.Support selected HR information system(s), including coordinating with the IT department as needed.

2.Support CS, regional and school HR staff in proper use of HR information systems, including training development & delivery.

3.Maintain documentation for all system changes, end-user training and security changes. Ensure compliance with all audit controls.

4.Review for approval all security requests for HR information systems.

5.Participate in system testing as needed for system changes and company disaster recovery.

6.Function as project lead and support for HR projects as appropriate.

7.Develops project plans as assigned.Job Requirements
Requirements:

1.Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Human Resources Management or Management Information Systems or equivalent is required.
2.Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and technical skills.
3.Experience with Lawson HR Suite, BSI TaxFactory, ADP Enterprise eTIME and Cognos Impromptu preferred.
4.Experience with HR technologies, data management or systems administration.
5.Experience with Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
6.Proven abilities in interpersonal communications and problem solving and a tolerance for unstructured situations.
