HR GENERALIST

SPX Weil-McLain, based in Michigan City, Indiana, known as best in class for residential and commercial gas, oil boilers, indirect-fired water heating, radiant systems and control systems has an immediate opportunity for two (2) Buyers in our Eden, North Carolina facility.

As the HR Generalist, you will report to the HR Manager, and will support or be responsible for HR functions such as: benefits, HRIS administration, employee relations, recruiting, compensation, training, development, performance management, and communications.

Plant safety experience is a must.

REQUIREMENTS
• The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years HR experience.
• A Masters degree is preferred.
• Must be highly proficient in HRIS, and MS Office Suite software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• You must be a high-energy professional that enjoys working in a team with the ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment.
• Strong safety skills are required along with the ability to interact with associates and be comfortable on the shop floor.
