HR Generalist/Human Resources

Horizon Bay Senior Communities, a national and well respected senior living management company, serving 48 communities throughout the United States is seeking an HR Generalist for our corporate office located in the West Shore area of Tampa, FL.

The HR Generalist position maintains accurate employee and insurance records for communities and corporate benefit premium billing and related accounting systems. Enters data, generates and prepares reports, maintains records and files by performing the following duties.

1. Enters, maintains and corrects community and corporate employee benefit premium billing and related accounting data into computer and back-up system as required.
2. Audits and reconciles benefit related records and reports for accuracy and completeness.
3. Assist with HR assessments of new communities acquired by Acquisitions and Development.
4. Assist with the development and ongoing maintenance of Employee Benefit Handbooks, Benefit Literature and Forms as required.
5. Assure accuracy of all necessary or required benefit records and supporting documentation for employee benefits.
6. Review of current benefits plans for compliance, employee benefit and employer cost.
7. Interface with benefit providers and consultants to assure appropriate benefits, resolve billing, payment, claims and coverage issues.
8. Audits and reconciles benefit related records and report for accuracy and completeness.
9. Responsible for reporting benefit and miscellaneous employee data.
10. Maintain confidentiality of all employee information.
11. Assist with employee recruiting and orientation.
12. Perform any other related duties as determined by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Must possess, as a minimum, a high school degree or equivalent.
2. Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in Human Resources or Administrative support occupations and possess good computer, clerical, organizational and human relations skills.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
4. Must be able to speak, read and write in the English language.
