PricewaterhouseCoopers Human Resource Services (HRS) practice is one of the world’s largest HR, actuarial, and tax planning businesses, with over 6,000 professionals worldwide. We bring together all our local and global professionals working in the Human Resource Services arena - actuaries, accountants, tax and regulatory specialists, communications experts, personal financial advisors, as well as HR professionals, with expertise in the area of benefits, compensation, and HR process management - affording our clients an unmatched breadth and depth of expertise.We currently have an opportunity for a Director within our Total Compensation/Global Human Resource Services practice in New York to provide depth to our overall practice, with an emphasis on equity plan valuation. GHRS is active nationally in FAS 123R implementation for C2 clients as well as audit support activities around FAS 123R for C1 clients. Many of these engagements involve high level valuation of employee equity securities (stock options, market conditions) that require advanced analysis of assumptions and the development of path dependent Monte Carlo or lattice models. Additional resources in this area are supported by National R&Q as part of the overall PwC effort in FAS 123R implementation. Our growing Compensation practice is strategically positioned to assist our clients with executive compensation, equity and incentive compensation and employee pay services. We offer a comprehensive solution that includes technical aspects of compensation in addition to the development of compensation strategies and design of compensation programs.Responsibilities for this key role include:Function as an integral member of our Human Resource Solutions New York Practice.
Provide general compensation market/consulting support for the NY Metro region and for the National Total Compensation practice. Development and maintain client relationships
Function as a team member in implementing our market penetration strategy for prospects
Sell across the HRS service matrix
Interact with other PwC lines of service (e.g., Advisory and Assurance)
Assist in recruitment and staff development of Total Compensation professionalsProvide project management and direct service delivery in the following areas:
Developing compensation strategy
Short and long term incentive plan design
Stock/equity plans
Executive/non-qualified benefits
FAS 123R implementation services
Employment agreements, contracts
Competitive and financial analyses
Board of Directors compensation
Change-in-control arrangements
Performance measure selection
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Bachelors degree PLUS advanced credential (CEBS, CCP, Masters degree) REQUIREDEssential Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of proven executive compensation experience and successful track record Ability to develop and maintain client relationships as well as develop and manage a book of business Extensive executive compensation technical knowledge expertise (excellent understanding of benchmarking, tax, accounting and legal issues affecting compensation arrangements). Leader and team player Ability to manage own workflow as well as oversee the work of others. Interest in developing new ways to apply analytical skills to business problems and working in multi-disciplined environment
