Funeral Director

Classification: Full Time Compensation: Pay up to $50,000 per year As the staff member most directly involved with client families during their time of need, Funeral Directors create and maintain the Company's premier level of client family satisfaction. Consistently establishes rapport with client families and develops an understanding of each family situation. Effectively analyzes needs and proactively communicates appropriate Company service/product options to all client families. Assumes responsibility for insuring that the services provided to the client family are in accordance with their wishes, while maintaining total compliance with applicable regulations. Actively participates in community organizations. Supports the location's marketing efforts and functions as a liaison with designated key community members. As required by business demand, works individually and as a team member to arrange, direct and/or supervise personalized services in a single, or at multiple Company locations. Depending on location and/or business demand, may also act as an embalmer and/or assist prep room staff. Works under moderate supervision. May assist in training of others. Must have 5+ years of Funeral Services experience. Ensures that all staff assigned to the service understands their roles. Ensures that they accomplish their responsibilities effectively and efficiently. Anticipate most problems and solves them with minimal assistance. Must understand rites and rituals for all community segments in the local market. Must assure families that needs are met, and resolve client complaints. Must be very familiar with required documentation. Must understand and follow all applicable policies, procedures and regulations.
