We have full and part time positions available for Administrative Assistants to work as Front Desk associates to work for a family oriented multi disciplined practice. First impression is a lasting impression. We are in need of professionals who have strong interpersonal, written and oral communication, collection, customer service and organizational skills. Bi-lingual Spanish/English a plus.Must have formal training in MS Office applications and be a great representative of health. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to high volume telephone skills, patient contact, collections, maintaining patient files and following office procedures.Job Title: Front Desk Associate

Position Summary: This position focuses on customer service and quality care. Primary responsibilities are to answer the telephone and direct clinic calls, set patient appointments, prepare and update patient files.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Follows day end closing procedures checklists
- Answers incoming phone calls for the clinic & directs calls to the proper departments
- Retrieves answering service messages/VM & fax messages daily
- Records messages in VM logs and the computer system
- Reviews daily appointment book & prepares patient charts for the next days appointments
- Schedules daily and multiple patient appointments, maintains and updates the daily appointment book
- Contacts patients for appointment reminders,missed appointments
and recall
- Completes a new patient worksheet and checklist when a new
patient calls, enter the new patient information into the computer
- Prepares new patient charts and copies forms as needed
- Verifies new or established patient medical history and copies
insurance cards (front and back) and identification on a daily
basis.
- Collects patient payments and records payments in receipt book and payment log.
- Maintains petty cash log
- Prepares deposit slips
- Updates doctor(s) on any schedule variations during the day
- Reports to doctor(s) any changes in the patient's condition
- Enters patient charge slips in the computer system
- Enters Report of Findings and Progress report sheets into the computer
- Helps therapists with recall procedures
- Educates the patients on promotional services
- Knows proper use of the fax machine, copy machine, 10 key adding
machine and other general office machines
- Works in a safe and productive manner in accordance with all
company policies

REQUIREMENTS
2 year degree in Business (No technical or vocational schools accepted)
3 -5 years experience as Administrative Assistant
