The Front Desk Manager is directly responsible for supervising daily activities of front desk clerks, enforcing policies and procedures, and working with guests on a situation specific basis to assure overall satisfaction. This position must train, coordinate and schedule activities of front office employees in addition to creating guest reservations and maintaining room inventories. The primary responsibility of the Front Desk Manager is providing a high quality service to guests by being cordial and exceeding their lodging expectations. We need someone who lives and breaths superior customer service. Front Desk Manager also acts as manager on duty in absence of General Property Manager.
FRONT DESK MANAGER DUTIES
•Welcomes guests arriving at the hotel
•Facilitates the flow of guests through the check in process alleviating Front Desk queues by fielding non-front desk requests
•Personally greeting VIP’s and delegating their requests.
•Assist any guests in need and unusual situations
•Keep accurate records of all arrangements and reservations made.
•Answer questions concerning and/or giving directions to hotel facilities, meeting rooms, or events held therein
•Assists in arranging and performing group and internet check ins
•Work closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Catering and Sales to assure groups and special functions are handled smoothly
•Instill a guest service attitude in all employees
•Promote Teamwork
•Instill a "can-do" attitude in employees.
HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER up to $38K
As the Housekeeping manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of all housekeeping and public areas throughout the property to ensure clean, orderly and attractive conditions for guests. You will conduct inspections of guest rooms and provide feedback to room attendants.
HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER DUTIES
•Manage the Hotel housekeeping and laundry operations
•Maintain an inspection program for all guest rooms and public areas
•Conduct Inspections of Guest Rooms and provide feedback to maids
•Delegate work assignments, sign time cards, and complete reports as needed.
•Work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as the position requires.
•Pitch in and clean rooms when necessary
•Maintain public areas to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance requirements are met.
•Develop action plans and standard operating procedures
•Control the use, ordering and laundering of all terry and lines for hotel rooms
•Participate in management and safety meetings as required.
•Perform administrative duties including payroll and operating expenses.
•Facilitate the hiring process, including interviewing, training, evaluating job performance and provide ongoing training
•Interview and discipline department associates;
•Schedule housekeeping and laundry associates
•Ensure highest quality of cleanliness is provided throughout the entire hotel.

FRONT DESK MANAGER REQUIREMENTS
•Computer skills, strong customer service background, hospitality experience strongly preferred. Room Master Experience will be given highest priority.
•Solid experience in Front Office including Front Desk, Night Audit, Reservations, Bell staff, and Guest Services
•Ability to motivate Front Office & Reservations Employees to continuously upsell
•Ability to train, hire, and schedule front desk clerks
•Familiar with Front Office/Reservations training techniques
•Verifiable record improving guest service and satisfaction
•Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
•Experience training and cross-training employees
•Excellent time management skills
•Strong organizational skills
•Excellent knowledge of computers
•Strong customer service orientation and skills
•Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on an occasional basis
•Must be able to be on feet for the entire shift
•Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit
HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER REQUIREMENTS
•Thorough knowledge of housekeeping, laundry, and front desk operations such as an assistant department manager in a full service hotel.
•Room Master experience highly beneficial
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Maintain a high level of professional appearance.
•Be computer literate and proficient in using Excel.
•Be able to Solve Problems
•Effective written and oral skills
•Ability to train housekeeping and laundry personnel
•Ability to Supervise maids, Attendants, and Laundry Attendants
•Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on an occasional basis
•Must be able to be on feet for the entire shift
•Must be a citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit
TIMING:
Normal Work Schedule Includes: 45 hours Monday through Sunday.
