The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and perform well in a team environment. Superior phone etiquette, communication skills, and basic computer skills are a must. The film librarian is responsible for providing the film librarian/clerical functions of the department in a timely, professional and efficient manner. Duties include, but are not limited to: heavy phones, faxing reports, film filing and retrieval, data entry, physician interaction, hanging radiology films, and issuing and/or updating patient film jackets according to department policy and procedures. He/She contributes to the department QC and Performance Improvement activities. A bilingual (Spanish/English) candidate is preferred, but not required. REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a radiology imaging department, or with medical terminology, preferred.Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
