Position Description:
The Regent South Beach, setting the standard for the sophisticated traveler in one of North America's most exciting resort destinations. From the Regent's contemporary design to the signature service known the world over...a true hospitality legend is born...
The Regent South Beach, situated in the Historic District of world-famous South Beach, will open in late 2005 as an 80-unit luxury resort condominium hotel. The hotel is the focal point of a new construction development that will also encompass upscale retail space and an 8,500-square foot gourmet restaurant. The building will be the only one to span both Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue, with both balconies and a private parking garage.
Responsibilities include:
*Leading and delivering The Regent Experience of luxury and personalized service to ensure guest loyalty.
*Ensuring that all suites, public and laundry areas are maintained to highest luxury standards
*Managing the housekeeping department during pre-opening, including hiring, training & process/procedure development and implementation.
*Managing housekeeping budgets, including inventory, supplies, staffing levels, and vendors.
*Develops and implements strategies and practices to support employee engagement. Provides coaching and counseling to achieve performance objectives.
The Regent South Beach will be managed by Regent International Hotels, a subsidiary of Carlson Hotels Worldwide, Minneapolis, MN, which also operates the following hotel brands: Radisson Hotels and Resorst, Country Inns & Suites, Park Plaza Hotels and Park Inns. Our parent company, Carlson Companies, includes Carlson Wagonlit Travel, the Carlson Marketing Group, TGI Fridays Restaurants and Radisson Seven Seas Cruises.

Job Requirements:
*3-5 years Executive Housekeeper experience in a luxury service enviroment.
*Proven management skills in the areas of hiring, coaching, and training
associates.
*Hotel pre-opening experience a plus.
*Budgeting/Payroll and scheduling experience.
*Demonstrated leadership abilities, including building a team committed to delivering The Regent Experience of luxury and personalized service.
