Estimator - Construction

Estimator needed for our Fremont, CA office.

ISEC is currently seeking an Estimator to work out for our Fremont, CA Region office.

Description:

Obtains, calculates and compiles data for use in conceptual/bid proposal estimates,preparing routine estimates under general supervision. Maintains current, accurate information on prices from suppliers and contractors through direct contact and written materials, sales brochures, prices lists, etc.


Position Details (REPRESENTATIVE)

1. Responsible for insuring that all quantity surveys and pricing are accurate and complete.



2. Provide support for the development of bidding strategies by debriefing the salesperson on the job and its elements.



3. Compile list of type of materials or equipment requirements, utilizing knowledge or services to be performed or type of structure to be built using blueprints and specifications.


4. Itemizes tools, fixtures, or equipment to be manufactured by company or purchased from outside sources.


5. Computes cost estimates for materials, purchased equipment, subcontracted work,production activities and requirements, and labor.


6. May perform other tasks as required or directed.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

Requires practical knowledge of construction methods and application of principles

associated with a bachelor degree in Construction Management or the equivalent thereof.

Requires 2-5 years experience in estimating in the construction industry
