Eligibility Representative (Call Center)

We are seeking an experienced and qualified healthcare professional to fill a full time, Eligibility Representative position in the Lewisville, Texas area.

Eligibility Representative (Call Center)

The Eligibility Representative will screen patients for possible program eligibility to assist with hospital financial responsibilities. The Eligibility Representative will assist the hospital onsite representatives as needed.

Essential job functions:
Screen patients for possible eligibility programs.
Assist patients with the completion of applications.
Follow up with patients and agencies to ensure eligibility for date(s) of service.
Manage a group of accounts on a daily basis using procedures outlined in the standard operating procedure.
Update patient account status in hospital system and Cymetrix CUBS system on a daily basis.
Work closely with hospital based staff and third party agencies.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Qualified candidates will possess:
High school diploma.
Computer/typing knowledge.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Healthcare background preferred.
Working knowledge/experience of Federal, State and County eligibility programs preferred.
Knowledge of Social Security, Medicaid, COBRA, and Crime Victims programs.
