Openings: 1Job Description:GENERAL SUMMARYPerforms a variety of customer service, analysis and administrative duties while assisting the Division Manager and staff with the day-to-day operations of the respective Sales Division. Primary responsibilities include maintaining Sales Division budgets, coordinating the development and compilation of material for management and wholesaler presentations, assisting the Division Manger with special projects and managing depletions/forecasting information provided by distributors with the Sales Division.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Maintains and reports on all Sales Division budgets (actual vs. plan) including B.T.F.s, drives and travel/entertainment.2. Manages distributor monthly forecasts and depletions through maintenance of depletion management system by division, region, state (if applicable) and wholesaler.3. Manages the gathering of wholesaler trimester distribution based on the Annual Business Plan. Develops and implements ongoing trimester distribution tracking system by brand, distributor and off and on-premise.4. Prepares presentations for Barton management and wholesalers under the direction of the Division Manager as needed.5. Coordinates, analyzes and reconciles Barton distributor pricing worksheets and surveys. Pricing point analysis, price to retail and price to consumer, completed and findings reported to Division Manager.6. Functions as liaison between Sales Division and Barton corporate departments, i.e., Supply Chain, Administration, Information Services, Human Resources, Accounting, etc. Facilitates the implementation of corporate systems and initiatives in the division, as needed.7. Analyzes web based sales data. Distributes this information on a monthly basis to Barton field sales and national account personnel in an actionable and useable format, as needed.8. Assists Division Manager with the preparation of special reports and/or projects as requested.9. Participates in various Sales Division meetings, i.e., staff meetings, wholesaler meetings, etc, as needed.10. Prepares, compiles and submits inventory analysis vs. sales orders and forecasts. Identifies brands, packages and wholesalers with issues. Look at orders vs. forecasts and ID who is going to run out of beer.11. Develops and overviews the annual Division operating budget and sales forecast including CAPEX and operating T&E budget. Prepares for review/approval by Division Manager and senior sales management.12. Coordinates division special events.13. Oversees and manages staff of sales analysts.14. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPReports directly to the Division Manager.KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED1. A Bachelor’s Degree with primary emphasis in business administration or financial management is required.2. A minimum of five years experience in the consumer packaged goods industry is required. Experience in the U.S. malt beverage industry is preferred.3. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.4. Must have excellent communication (written and oral), organizational, interpersonal and management skills, and be able to work with a variety of people at all levels.5. Must be an assertive, decisive, detail-oriented, analytical and deadline-oriented self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, take initiative and follow through with minimal supervision.
