DESCRIPTION JESCo-Jamison Electric Service Company, Inc. 10 September 2006 Position Profile: Dispatcher & Scheduler This key position is responsible for dispatching & scheduling customer service calls in order to maximize the calls that can be accomplished by a field technician in a normal, eight-hour workday. The position reports to the Supervisor – Customer Operations. The dispatcher & Scheduler are accountable for insuring that all service calls are dispatch & scheduled and confirmed within the Company’s contractual and policy parameters, and the performance of all activities related to this position. Key responsibilities include: • Operating a data entry device to record and/or verify a variety of standard and complex coded or un-coded business data into the Company’s Servicom and MapIt system; • Identifying and resolving data errors; • Interfacing with customers to confirm appointments for service calls; • Developing and mapping daily route plans for service calls by field technicians; communicate plans to technicians using Palm Pilot system • Maintaining procedural lists, control records and processes/practices relating to the data and information; • Insuring compliance with establish internal control policies and procedures; • Working with the accounting function to reconcile issues with work order billings. Base Qualifications: The Dispatcher & Scheduler must have the following qualifications: • 2+ years of recent experience in a position comparable to this position; • Keyboard key entry skills of 50-60 words per minute; • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral); • Knowledge of computer systems (e.g. Servicom & MS Map Point) for tracking services-type work orders; • High school diploma required. Nice-to-haves: • Independent worker with confidence to work in a small business environment; • Proven ability to perform the range of activities defined for this position; • Good basic knowledge of PC application software, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Personal Qualities: • Exceptionally high level of integrity, trustworthiness and honesty; • Ability to interact with people at all business levels, and the general public; • Capable of working with minimal direction and guidance. JESCo-Jamison Electric Service Company, Inc is a Phoenix, Arizona based electrical contracting and services company. The Company serves residential and commercial customers in the greater Phoenix metro area, in selected other cities in the United States.
