Director of Purchasing

Director of Purchasing Directs the supply management function for the entire company. Works closely with Product Managers and vendors. Participates in negotiating purchase prices monitors warranty process, maintains appropriate inventory levels to support sales while delivering the projected fill-rate targets. Assists in the control of inventory status for Central Warehouse and all Branch locations. Responsible for maximizing the ROI on inventory investment. Supervises the purchasing staff with full hire/fire authority. Maintain strong Vendor relationships while improving services prices from Vendors. Must be willing to relocate to Springfield, MO.
