Department Assistant - NBA TV

Position Summary:Department Assistant will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day affiliate marketing responsibilities for NBA TV and NBA LEAGUE PASS. Department Assistant will work with NBA TV and NBA LEAGUE PASS Managers to contribute to overall affiliate marketing/campaign strategy, Call Center Training, and relationship maintenance with cable distributors of NBA TV and NBA LEAGUE PASS, and administrative duties for the department.Major Responsibilities:• Assist with manager’s internal creative team on affiliate marketing materials.• Help with NBA TV affiliate marketing through distributor platforms in an effort to best promote NBA TV.• Contribute to development of NBA LEAGUE PASS marketing campaign and see projects through completion.
• NBA TV & LEAGUE PASS Call Center training for different cable systems around the country.
• Assist in the development of NBA TV affiliate marketing/ promotion and CSR Education strategy.
• Help with the preparation and presentation of NBA TV CSR trainings, sales videos, and additional materials as they related to affiliate marketing.
• Various administrative duties for group as it relates to affiliate marketing.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills/Knowledge:• Communication and analytical skills.
• Marketing background.
• Affiliate Sales Experience/Cable Industry Contacts desired.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Creativity
• Travel Required.
Experience Needed:
• 1-2 Years Marketing/Advertising.
• Cable/Satellite Industry experience.Educational Background Required:• Bachelors degree.
