This is an Entry level position providing services to the Telecommunications Industry. Training is provided and directed by GDMS documentation and procedures as an introduction of telephony services and service providers.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Front Desk, answer phone, coordinate visitor access, and handle incoming packages.

Testing and configuration of DSL service, interpreting and completing service order requests.

Analysis of customer address errors, correction of core database and related Outside Plant records databases as required.

Research requests to root-cause level, document and report corrective action required to original requestor and where applicable, close ticket in appropriate systems.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS
Two to five years computer experience with Windows applications Access, Excel, MS Word.

Telephony provisioning, order entry, and inventory database experience (Preferred but not required)

Typing 30-35 WPM
Strong Research/Analysis Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret data from customer service order requests, and technical procedures

Excellent Communications/Oral and Written
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various
instructions provided in written, oral, or on-line form

Must be flexible with working schedule, which may include Saturday
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
