Data Management/GIS Group Manager, Ecosciences (1244)

This multidisciplinary team includes terrestrial and aquatic ecologists, toxicologists, fishery scientists, and resource management specialists. Our services include ecological risk assessment, natural resource damage assessment, toxicological reviews and analysis, water quality management, and design/monitoring of ecological restoration programs.

We are currently seeking a Data Management/GIS Group Manager for our EcoSciences practice in Bellevue, WA. Responsibilities will include management of staff, coordinating and interfacing with clients, development of new business opportunities.

Exponent's ecologists have expertise in a variety of disciplines, including biology, chemistry, ecology, toxicology, fisheries, oceanography, limnology, and statistics. In addition, our ecology staff can draw on the knowledge and expertise of scientists, engineers, physicians, and business consultants specializing in more than 70 technical disciplines.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications for this position include:

·B.S. or M.S. ecology/ecotoxicology, geography, geology, geochemistry, hydrology, biostatistics, chemometrics and/or air dispersion modeling
·Minimum of 10 years experience in Data Management/GIS
·Knowledge and experience with GIS and web-based applications, including: Access, SQL, Visual Basic, Python, HTML, ArcGIS
·A strong analytical systems approach
·Interest in rapid growth for the group
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
