Data Analyst

Benefitfocus.com, Inc. the leading producer of employee benefits software for use via the Internet, is looking for qualified Data Analysts. Successful candidates will have professional experience and computer proficiency in a Windows-based environment.















As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and synchronization of the data we provide to our clients. Because our data is continually being updated by our clients the task of ensuring data integrity and synchronization is critical to the success of our company. Your responsibilities will also include scheduling, running and reconciling data transmissions and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

REQUIREMENTS


Required Skills:           4 year degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Statistics or equivalent work experience
2 years financial, accounting, or electronic data interchange work experience
Exceptional professional communication skills utilizing the telephone and e-mail
 Working knowledge of accounting and/or data analyst experience with an emphasis in data reconciliation
 Strong Excel spreadsheet skills   Proficient in the operation of Microsoft Office in a Windows environment
Excellent understanding of principles and techniques for achieving complete customer satisfaction
 Ability to work in a dynamic team environment








Desired Skills Health insurance and life insurance knowledge would be advantageous
 Microsoft Access skills highly desirable Database and SQL experience highly desirable
